The University of North Florida (UNF) Student Port held its 16th Annual Hubbard House Holiday Drive on Dec. 2, 2017. Hubbard House is the oldest domestic violence shelter in Florida.Students dropped off about $2,000 worth of items purchased and collected, and they also decorated the lobby for the holidays.Propeller Club members donated items toward the drive at the club's Membership Social held earlier in the fall.

For the 14th year in a row, the Student Port at the University of North Florida and the Propeller Club of Jacksonville partnered to make the holidays happier for residents of Hubbard House, the oldest domestic violence shelter in the state of Florida.During the fall, students and club members donated and collected items for the women and children who are living in the shelter. On Saturday, Dec. 5, students delivered the items and decorated the lobby with wreathes, poinsettias and a Christmas tree provided by the Propeller Club.
